ソニーネットワークウォークマン "NW-HD5"発表

　予想に反してHDDタイプのネットワークウォークマンを投入してきました。どういうわけかNW-HD4を飛ばしてNW-HD5なんだわさ。

　ソニーマーケティング株式会社は、業界最長約40時間の連続再生＊1を実現し、20GBハードディスク内蔵のネットワークウォークマン『NW-HD5』を発売します。

　今回発売するネットワークウォークマンは、従来モデル＊1より約10時間長い業界最長約40時間＊2の連続再生を実現しました。また充電池には、簡単に取り外して交換できるリチウムイオン充電池を採用しています。重さ約135g＊3の手のひらにすっぽり収まる縦型形状のコンパクトボディに、ハードディスクを衝撃から守る「Gセンサー（重力加速度センサー）」などの機能を搭載しています。本体カラーは＜シルバー＞、＜ブラック＞、＜レッド＞の3色を取り揃え、幅広いお客様のニーズに対応しています。

発売は4月21日，価格はオープン(実売3万5千円前後)。

　目立つところでは筐体デザインでしょうね。個人的にはNW-HD3のほうがいいな。大型7行表示液晶になったけど，NW-HD3はレザーケースに入れてHOLD状態で，操作は全部リモコンでやっちゃってるから，筐体デザインも液晶もあんまり意味ないですね。

　バッテリーの持ちが若干良くなっている上に交換可能というのは魅力的。ただし専用バッテリーみたいだけどね。あとDC INとUSBの接続端子が本体に付いているみたい。変なアダプターを挿さなくてもいいのは便利だけど，クレードルを出す気はないんだろうか。

　というか，廉価版NW-HD4が控えてそうな気がしないでもない。
